Edinburgh College is holding a course drop-in surgery on Friday (12 August) to help school students receiving their exam results this week make the right study choices for their future.

Anyone opening their exam results today and not sure about their next step is invited to Sighthill Campus from 12-4pm to talk to course advisors and funding experts. They can also make fast-track course applications on the day for courses starting in August.

Edinburgh College Principal Annette Bruton said: “With exam results out this week, young people are making some tough choices about what they want to do next. We’re here to help them figure this out and support them to make decisions that will set them up for great futures.

“Our experts will be waiting to advise what courses are available and how they can lead to a job or further studies. They can help explore career pathways, how to boost qualifications, and how to arrange funding. They can also help make applications on the day, so you could come in not knowing where you want to go next before leaving with a definite plan and on track to come and study with us.”

The college still has limited places left on full-time courses beginning this month. As well as full-time programmes, part-time, evening and leisure courses are also open for applications.

The course drop-in surgery takes place on Friday from 12-4pm at Sighthill Campus, Bankhead Avenue, EH11 4DE.

Edinburgh College’s course advisors are available to help anyone who cannot make the course drop-in surgery on 0131 669 4400.
